Brent Walters
Brent Walters has been a DJ and an active part of the Australian music scene for over a decade, performing under his given name or the alias’ of Marvs (Pure Product) and BRNTOS (The Freshmaker), (Boss Cats & Jungle Traffic).
As a DJ and at times a recording artist/performer, Brent has supported some of the most notable hip-hop acts in the world during their Australian tours i.e. GZA/Genius, WuTang Clan, M.O.P. and House of Pain to name a few.
Brent’s primary focus of late has been behind the turntables as a DJ performing regularly at the Pig n Whistle, Treasury Casino and Super Whatnot. Brent also performs often at private functions (inc. Weddings) and other nightclubs throughout Brisbane.
Brent’s playlists are eclectic and tailored to any given audiene. His style is primarily centered around the genres of Pop, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul/RnB/Mo Town, House and Nu Jazz/Lounge but he is known to push the envelope by seamlessly blending an even broader range of genres to create an interesting a highly entertaining atmosphere.
Brent’s passion drives him on a constant quest through the history of music. He also relizes the importance of familiarity in a performance, regularly acquainting himself with contemporary music ( i.e. the “Top 40”).
Brent has a renowned history and bright future working as a DJ. His technical ability and musical knowledge are estalished yet ever expanding, granting him the versatility to fulfill the requirements of any event coordinator.
